I have Ph.D in engineering field. Material science. but I heard about being a
part time patent agent is not a bad idea. So I'm wondering if I can fulfill
this goal without really going to law school. and What I need to do to
participate in this area. I'm H1b now. Could I take so called patent exam. My
work is not associated with Law at least right now.

u don't have to go to law school to become a patent
agent, just have to pass the next (not the patent bar).
