virtual machine. alternative to dual-boot system: e.g. in ur case, running Win 7 in your mac os. a few good things include: access to both OS features simultaneously; easy switch between the two: share files in between etc; easy install/remove within your native mac os. Win 7 on VM may be slow compared with a native install, but given that you can access all mas os features the same time, and all you need are M$ office -ware, from my experience (on Linux, and others on Win), not bad. My classmates actually made heavy use of VM when it comes to projects. would have recommended you VM before trying dual-boot if I knew your need for M$ office-ware. haha, but I never tried mac os version of VM... ps, you can ask VM to dynamically allocate space in your hard drive -- so you only keep win 7 configurations (and files) in you native os when not running win 7.
