So when and how did you realize your sexuality?

It took me a really long time to realize it. Looking back, I had suspicions
in last year of elementary school, but I was so scared by my own desires
that I ignored them. I had several female crushes growing up, from movies
stars to schoolmates, and one of my teachers. but it honestly never occurred
to me that my feelings were more than just "admiration".

I knew that I was gay in third grade when I had a huge crush on one of my
female classmates. It just never occurred to me that this was going to be a
temporary thing. I knew it from the very start that I would never fall for
boys.
It is actually quite fascinating to me that sexuality on surface should be
one of the most basic things that you just naturally figure out. But it is
also one of the most complicated things that one can constantly work on. And
may I say, should work on.
