刚在Turbotax上做了联邦税。如果不算自己的LLC的收入，应该退$5000,如果加上自己
的LLC的收入，却要再补交$10K的税。等于就是30% tax rate on $50K LLC income.
Turbotax算对了吗？

F-1 OPT, 在做postdoc. 请问postdoc fellowship 的钱到底算salary/wage 还是
scholarship/fellowship （后者可以免税）? 我这个postdoc fellowship 就是自己做
研究，并不用给系里或者某个教授干活，说起来是100 % obligation free.

刚刚下了一个，但是直播不工作，一直缓冲，没有反应。点播可以工作，很快。不知道
是不是这是对海外IP的限制？还是我的有什么问题？装了两台电脑，都是一样的反应。

查了些代码，好像可以用 EXT2_I(inode),如：struct ext2_inode_info *ei = EXT2_I
(inode);
但是EXT2_I似乎没有被export symbol，在我的模块里该如何使用呢？
同时，EXT2_I似乎使用container_of()来实现的，所以我试着用如下代码：
struct ext2_inode_info *ei=container_of(inode,struct ext2_inode_info,vfs_
inode);
inode是所得到的struct inode. 但该行报错：
error: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type
error: invalid use of undefined type 'struct ext2_inode_info'
高手帮忙啊!!!!感激不尽。。。。。。。。

you pay SE tax on the income of the LLC. it is 25%(if that is your tax
bracket)+15.x%(or something like that).

你有签什么文件能证明是fellowship吗？有文件就可以，没文件没证明就没办法了。

CCTV5/全天体育频道不行，据说是版权问题。
其他CCTV1/2 etc, 江苏卫视/广西卫视etc, 没有问题。

多谢。
但这个SE tax不是用来抵消Social Security and Medicare etc? 我的employee
income已经付满了2009的social security contribution的上限了。

顶一下。同问。我现在是H1B postdoc， 有一个international foundation the
fellowship.钱是那个foundation 直接award 给我的，我知道的很多学校的这种
postdoc 不管什么身份都不用交FICA的，因为被看作是postdoc fellow. 但是我们
institute 很小，HR觉得既然你是H！B 就跟他们建立的雇佣和被雇佣的关系，就不能
算Fellow了。不管钱是哪里来的都要算做wage, 这样我就要被扣FICA，可是同样的美国
人就不用交，因为他们不需要institute sponsor H1B， 就不必建立雇佣关系。可是ＩＲＳ规定了US Citizen　的ｆｅｌｌｏｗｓｈｉｐ　是不用交ＦＩＣＡ的, 而且Ｈ１Ｂ in gerenal is follow tax rule of US citizen. 另外，department of labor 也说了Ｈ１ｂpostdoc 　是一定要拿 sponsor institute wage 的，是可以拿external funding. 这个被扣的FICA可以明年拿回来吗？

niu! and congratulations. then you won't need pay that. you pay medicare
only (as i remembered, i am not 100% sure, it is about 2.9% for you.

没听说过H1B也有免FICA的。
你OPT的时候搞不好还可以的。

我有件事不明白。
如果你的LLC是在年初盈利这5w，那是你的公司还没交满你的social security tax，难
道你不应该交？
还是LLC每年一算？哪位给澄清一下， 多谢。

H1B那wage 当然要交FICA。可是我问的是fellowship。既然美国人拿FEllowship 不算
作wage,不用交FICA， 为什么H1B要交。而且其他学校的H1B 拿Fellowship的都不算
Wage，FICA Exempted.

这个客户端没有什么海外版的区别吧？用其他软件还可以看CCTV的直播，就是效果不怎
的。

如果你的 employment income 已经付满了的话，那你的 Tax backet 也得有 28% - 33
% 了。加上 2.9% 的 Medicare， 30% 的税很正常啊。

好像是Beta 1.1.02， 刚才启动提示要升级，没理它。
又试了一下CCTV1/2/3/4 6/7 都可以。

I am using the latest beta 1.2, and it works for me for both live and on-demand flawlessly.
Some of the channels such CCTV5 can't be streamed due to copy right issue.
The only complain I have is that it has issues with the full screen mode on
my HDTV. It works perfectly on my laptop and desktop in full screen mode, but not on the HDTV.
Anyone got it work on HDTV using full screen mode?

我的全屏倒是没有问题，一点就可以了，没有任何问题，HDMI和VGA接口都可以。

I think I know what happened to me.
I always set the display to be 150% level when I connect my pc to the HDTV.
This also triggers the CBOX to enlarge to 150% level in full screen mode.
This has to be a bug. Not sure whether it is just for Win7.
Also, I found another issue with the 1.2 version. It requires to run as
Administrator in Win7.
