已经登录了成绩，有一个学生没参加final(final 10%)来找分，他现在的分数是90(按
照final 0 分来算）out of 100，他来信说他的成绩应该是90 out of 90 OR 100 out
of 100.就是因为我的这封回信（关于他是否take final），
"Of course, you do not need to take the final exam if you do not want to. I
will not subtract the 10% from your total grade. It is just you do not get
this 10% if you do not take your final。"
上面这封回信是基于他的这封信。
"One my options for a military call-up is as follows: request that a final
grade be assigned based upon work completed to date, which is what I am

就是类似PC上的Ghost那种
直接镜像
万一出点啥问题就不用费劲一个个重装了

Did you agree to the option he mentioned? If yes, then it seems quite
obvious to me that he should receive 90 out 90, not 90 out of 100.

这不公平
那这个学生没有必要只不参加最后一个final
take第一个hw，拿个满分，比如说10
然后就可以走人了
是吧

You reply is too ambiguous. You are effectively rejecting a student's
request. In that case I always make sure one of the first two sentences of
my reply starts with something like "I'm sorry but", "I'd like to help but",
"Unfortunately", etc.
Also, shouldn't there be school policies regarding grade assignment for
those who are called to service? I think our school has.
