nono,柱子是柱子，当然你也可以往柱子上钉东西
stud 一般2“x4" or 2" x6"，full height,你钉的那个面是2“，讲究的做法是做一圈挂
镜线，画就从那儿挂下来...
此外，墙上有洞的地方盖的时候都会加stud，也许你会用的上
hollow metal stud是很薄的铁皮(铝？)握的，钉子没问题，实际上，drywall就是这么钉
在stud上的

? you mean "plaster"?
有人也管drywall board叫plaster board，but传统的做法是3 coats plaster on
lathing代替drywall board,那种是湿着糊上去的，干了以后像水泥一样结实，你钉钉子
吃的住劲，drywall board把外面的纸斯开里面都是粉，所以挂重的东东不成...
screw因为上面有罗纹，磨擦力比光的nail更强，但drywall本身吃不住劲,所以
你要透过drywall钉到有stud的地方,I think either screw & large nail works on
drywall(remember drywall is 5/8" or 1/2" thick, so small nail can't get
through...)
