you could do the following:
1. de-thathing, somebody calls it power raking.
2. aeration, punch a bunch of little holes
3. seeding, for bare spot
4. fertilization and weed control.
It would depend on the condition of your lawn, so what is yours looks like
now? green? brown? or else.
