around 25K, but the contractor also start to charge me more as the project

the cheapest granite starts from $55 (including installation) then go all the
way up to $150/sf ( and more...)
if you want to do fancy edge, add another $10-$30/sf extra
and all these prices are for straight cut, if you want to do an arc shape, add
another $400-$1000
mine kitchen is very small and I used the cheapest option, still cost me
$2700ish:-(
most of the charge are from installation. I know some supplier actually quot
me a beautiful limestone from germany, only $12-15/sf for the slab its

really depends on how big your kichen is and how big your countertop is. a
medium to large size kitchen with center island will need two full size slabs,
with all the cutting and labor it can be anywhere from 5k to 10k.
when u choose granite, make sure the color works for your kitchen, ask the
experts/designers if you are not sure.
