可能这些问题有点傻，可是居然在周围也发生了，所以问问：
（1） 持有单程票，是否可以登机
我同学的父母在上海单程票登机的时候居然不让登机，最终只好被迫买了贵的返程票才
算了事，是不是太无理了？有人也碰到这种情况吗？
（2） 持有单程票入关，是否会被盘问，给的时间是否会少？
目前只能买单程票，回去的时间还没定好，这种情况入关的时候，海关官员会问返程票
的事情吗？如果问起为什么买单程票如何回答呢？会不会给的时间特别短？我们期待的
是6个月哦。

装修什么的都比较满意。escrow也开了，inspection也做了，现在只剩3天contingency
就要被remove了。今天打算最后去看一次，看看邻居是什么样的人。大部分邻居都很
nice，可是紧挨着我们准备买的那个房子（immediate neighbor）是个黑人，我们都没
料到会是黑人（因为那个城市黑人只有不到2%）。我不是discriminate，如果只是黑人
也没什么，可是那个大妈看起来很mean，讲话都感觉是夹枪带棒的。还养了巨大的一条
沙皮狗，一直说
：“my dog is not a toy, but the kids next door always think he is a toy" 再
隔壁那家很可爱的几个娃，被人家那么说 据另一个邻居说，这位黑人大妈很爱报警，
10点钟只要还有一点点噪音，5分钟后警察一定来了。还有他们家空调compressor很吵
，就是挨着分隔墙的，离我们家大概就2米。今天在院子里呆着的时候听到it一会on，
一会off，很annoying。

I don't see anything wrong with her warning you:“my dog is not a toy, but
the kids next door always think he is a toy".
Obviously she doesn't want any responsibility of your kids getting
hurt by her dog.
Air conditioning noise might not be a big issue since if it's on,
usually yours is on also and your windows will be closed.
If she calls the cops when the neighbourhood is noisy after 10,
that means you will have a nice quiet neighbourhood, doesn't it?
She might be blunt, but that is better than
the kids next door always think he is a toy".

actually she and her husband are nurse and doctor. they are in mid-fifties
and all kids are audlts and left the house. the most unbearable part is
mostly the noise but I'm not sure how much it would affect us. how often and
how long do you guys stay in the back yard?

him lived there for over 30 years and move out to home state for retirement.

海关有可能会查，没有会被带到小黑屋询问，但多半还是会让入关。比较好的方法是买
一张refundable的回去机票，入关后cancel机票。或者用里程票换，等入关后再修改里
程票。

with the house didn't get sold. ask more questions before thinking you just
got lucky. you maybe able to tolerate a neighbour who likes to call cop for
whatever reason and fit in just fine. for a lot of ppl, that is quite a
turn off.

unit is violating the ordinances, you can ask them to fix it

the house received 8 offers for the 1st week on the market, according to the
seller agent. He might be exaggerating a bit but not very likely
bullshiting according to our 4-month house-hunting experience. actually
during the 2 hrs of inspections, there are couple ppls tried to look the
house and we have to take the sign down to stop people coming in...
