If basement is finished without permit, will there be any trouble in the
future? (assuming there is no any problem with electricity, construction...
.)
As the seller, do you have to show some paperwork related to the permit to
the buyer?

因为没有permit的地下室引起的比如说火灾或者水寨，保险公司不配

i called insurance agent and another insurance company yesterday for hazard
insurance quote.
they didn't ask about basement construction permit at all.
will they check with the county to find if there is a permit available for
public record?
