急求Zephyr 2100 的保险管在哪里# Living

People involved: me, my student, my postdoc advisor
My postdoc advisor (Editor of a journal) asked me to write a review paper,
so I get my student to work on it with me.
The problem now is how to assign the authorship so that everyone is happy?
I should be the 1st author and corresponding author, no doubt. I guess I
should get my postdoc advisor as the last author (corresponding author also?
). Should I assign my student as co-first author in this case, so that he
won't feel bad?
Any better suggestions? Thanks.

It should be: your student, your former boss, and you. You be the senior
author. You former boss did not do anything and should be in the middle, or
not be on it at all. Give your student what he/she deserves.

Ah? I have always thought that my postdoc advisor "indicated" that he should
be part of the authors. I do need my postdoc advisor's strong support in
the field...don't want to make the relationship bad.

if he didn't write anything, you should not include him as a co-author. IF
he did help you with the paper writing, then of coz he can be a co-author.

Your starting point is wrong. Authorship should be decided by contributions,
not how to make everybody happy.

Review paper is not a big deal.
Just your student, you*, and your advisor.
I dont think your advisor wants to be the corresponding author without any
contribution.

取决于你多看重这个。要是我自己开的领域，又是第一篇review，自己，学生，前老板
。要是普通review,就算自己写的送给学生一作也不是什么大事。

The question is ill-posed. There is no right answer. :)
The nominal (theoretical) answer is that the order should reflect the
contribution.

author list:你学生，(你老板)，你*
这件事情要小心
是否放你老板取决于你对他的了解
如果他是个心胸坦荡而且学术严谨的人，不要放，放了是对他的侮辱
反之，放，不放以后估计要小心
对于你做第一作者，对所有人来说都是个big NO，包括领域里这篇文章的未来读者

1. 让学生当第一作者, 你最后(通讯). 没必要和学生争第一作者, 我写的任何文章,
都是放学生第一作者.
2. 把你博士后老板放中间, 可以共同通讯. 等你把draft发给他, 也就是他确认是否认
同authorship的时候.
