不省。
Fan 放在 On 上，不管空调是否 on,fan 都在工作。放在 Auto 上，fan 只在空调 on
时工作。而空调是在一定温度以上开始工作，但当温度降到一定值时停止工作。
你要想省电，把空调的起始温度调高。

换种说法，fan 在 Auto 时，fan 只在空调工作时转。fan 在 On 时，fan 在空调不工

en， 我的疑惑是我这边老空调，貌似空调启动的时候最耗电
所以在想如果一直转着是不是比较省？
因为貌似从帐单上看貌似是这样....

我家的空调如果FAN打在ON上就根本不制冷，我估计是不是冷风全吹跑了

不对。
fan只管吹风，让房子的空气流动，不管冷热。
空调on出冷风，暖气on出热风。
如果fan放在on上，只有空气流动，房间温度不变。白吹。

I feel this needs more explaination.
Everyone above is correct so far.
There are certain situations that require you to leave the fan running all
the time.
The number reason could be your system is over sized, which means your AC
runs for a very short time (a few min), the room cool down very fast and
shuts off. If that is the case (assume your house is not zoned and you only
have one ac unit). You will have a house with 2nd floor a few degree hotter
than 1st floor and your first floor a few deg

反正我以前家是放在on省电。关键是楼上楼下差4度，地下室比一楼又低6度。所以必须
温度设到理想值-4，白天才能上二楼不热。一直打风，基本上一楼二楼没温度差别。这
样就不用设-4，设到理想值就行了。还有地下室即时没有空调也很凉快，除非到了盛夏
。所以把地下室冷空气打上来，可能也省电。多年用下来差不多省20%-50%电。
当然各家的房屋，管道结构不同，情况可能非常不同。

如果你放在cool，fan auto/on都是温度高了就制冷的。

Fan on all the time does not cool or heat your house, it only help even the
temp between floors and rooms.
Temp setting (on thermostat) will determine when ac compressor work and how
often they work, they help lower the temp and also take out humidity.
Compressor use a lot more electricity than the blower fan.
If your house is zoned, turning fan to on all the time will not help much
and could waste more electricity.

That depend on the size of the unit and fan speed.
A 2 ton unit blower is less than 100w
A 5 ton unit blower running at slowest speed could be close to 100w too.
I would guess a large blower running at the highest speed could be burning
several hundred watt easily.
But no matter what the blower use much less electricity compareed to the
compressor.
