yes & no--but offer the price you're willing to pay. doesn't hurt. you
never know what price bank will say yes. too many variables affect final
decision
buy the house you feel you ought to buy :)
go thru or not isn't always decide by price. luck is critical

why do you want offering something already started bankruptcy process? you
will not get it until court made final decision and that will take a
loooooooong time.
