09/05/2012: Unconfirmed Prediction of EB-2 Visa Cut-Off Dates for Worldwide
and India
October Visa Bulletin is expected to be released soon. But some unconfirmed
sources of information indicates that EB-2 cut-off India may move as far
back as upto 2006 but it can move back to earlier cut-off date July 2007 at
best. The EB-2 cut-off date for ROW (Worldwide) may be lifted in October or
in the worst scenario in November 2012, but fall back to a cut-off date
again during FY 2013. Apparently, these predictions are predicated on the
ongoing trend of heavy transfers of EB-2 professionals to EB-1, eventually
resulting in reduced down fall numbers from EB-1 to EB-2 across the board.
Overall, not only bad news for China and India but also all other nationals
for EB-2. Conflict between these two groups can exacerbate. Please stay
