we are considering 2 properties recently. One is a new 'condo' but the
residence is detached; another one is a old 'SFH' but shares 2 walls with
neighbors. I noticed that the property tax rate is higher for the condo,
anyone can share more knowledge about these 2 types of residence? Thanks

我的经验是往高了说，因为一定会被cut掉一点，所以叫高些，就算压掉点也不亏。

如果是你第一份工作或当前工作 under-paid , 就打死你也不说数字.
就说"说我相信你们的offer会fair"
最好集中用别人家的 offer 来互相压

I believe it is different from multi-family house. There are certain areas,
though the property may share one or 2 walls, they are all called SFH. I
heard that 'SFH' or 'condo' affects the mortgage interest. I will check with
my loan broker tomorrow.

如果墙是和别人Share的, it is called townhouse.
