我们这里的sfh都是60年代的,虽然有些房子状况还不错
而townhouse顶多8年历史，有些也就是5年以内，所以价格相对sfh还更贵
有达人能给菜鸟普及下townhouse和sfh的优缺点吗？

10年之内的townhouse省事，不用怎么去Maintain，但是升值空间没有SFH大。

it's not necessarily true that "Townhouse 升值空间没有SFH大". It all depends
on location. There are TH communities that financially stable people (e.g.,
many fellow Chinese) tend to buy, thus the THs won't be affected that much
- there are always fellow Chinese looking to buy.
Generally speaking, your statement is true. But on the other hand, if a SFH
community has some shortsales (etc.), the house prices will be affected
significantly.
Many people don't want to waste their lives on maintaining house stuffs (
except those who enjoy).

完全同意，我说的就是个General idea. 在贷款的时候，Townhouse如果做30年的贷款
要有0.75point的Charge(如果Down只有20%).

sfh you have more freedom and privacy. no HOA to look over your shoulder
on every house/yard work. (some SFH communities have HOA but in generally
they are a lot more lax)
you have to share a wall or two, or 3 with neighbors in townhouses. in
general they are less work to maintain.

on every house/yard work. (some SFH communities have HOA but in generally
they are a lot more lax)
you have to share a wall or two, or 3 with neighbors in townhouses. in
general they are less work to maintain.
