Does any one know how to pay monthly mortage through credit card? Just want
to save some money by the credit card reward program.
Which credit card can save more?

靠.毛给几就是吃利率差价的，你还打他这方面的主意。

it was doable for a few years.
you would take a cash advance from 1 card to pay for your mortgage, and then
transfer the balance to another card with those first 6 or 12 months zero
percentage financing rates, and then max out the limit on that card and wait
for the zero rate promotion to expire and then keep on rolling to yet
another card. A friend of mine used to make about $10K a year, with close to
20 cards. The trick is to remember to pay the min payment of each card on
time. Otherwise, one late payement would wipe out all ur gains. My friend
spent 1 hour each Saturday paying bills. For him, it was worth it, as the
10K he made could afford him a very nice vacation in europe each year...

BT黄金的时候, with $75 maximum charge, 6% CD, 做一张新卡也赚不了几百.
5000 * 6% -75 = 225.
而且12个月0 APY还是很难找的, 申请卡多了, 申请难度和limitation都会不利.
做20张卡的BT很麻烦了, 而且也很难赚到10K之多.
也就是非常早年, 可以拿BT买i-bond那会儿还有点意思. 除了有转专业之类的需要短期
小额cash的. 一般人做两回BT消遣一下就很难做下去了.
还不如捡报纸剪哭胖来的实惠.

其实现在经济有余力的拿CC套点小利也能实现.
现在的mortgage利息普遍还是大于3%的.
拿CC给的BT checks, 尽量大额, 或者BT到mortgage帐户, 12个月以后付清CC.
能套个BT amt * (loan rate - 3%)的利息.
值不值得折腾就见智了.

譬如很多贷7/1 ARM但是7年内就能还清的, 靠这个办法加principle还是不错的.

其实说起来, 以前Chase freedom的时候光3%的utility一年就能挣200,300的reward.
现在还有类似卡吗?　一直没花心思找过．
