5月份file的h1b，期间被rfe了，opt6月份过期，现在在opt h1b的gap上。但是律师说
到10月1号就不能工作了，international center也这么说。但是我读uscis上的说明意
思是说到拿到h1b的result为止。
有没有牛人或者过来人给个正确的理解。

老婆没有收入，但是有ssn，能用家庭收入来申请信用卡吗

看到几个房子都是septic排废水，水源也是well。
这样的房子能考虑吗？
查了一些介绍septic system, annual maintenance cost说是$200-$1500，靠铺吗？
这种排废系统有什么潜在的问题？

No, between the expiration date of your OPT and the approval date of your
H1B,you cannot work.
Please search for "cap-gap fact sheet" on ice.gov. There is a very detail
explanation.

不可以。HOUSEHOLD INCOME不能再作为个人申请信用卡时的填报标准。
当然，你可以理直气壮地把HOUSEHOLD INCOME当作你老婆的收入，就像有人实际收入1W
，申卡时跟银行说收入10W一样。只要银行不找你麻烦。

主要是两年要maintain一次一年要换次filter，跟车子类似。maintain大概400~800，
filter大概250~400，取决于当地物价。
可以省下sewer的钱，但是这不是关键，主要是有些区域都是septic的房子，最近才开
始造public sewer system但是没来得及改造全部的房子。也许住进去一两年就有好的
deal帮你connect上public sewer。大不了最后要卖的时候再连上也不迟。
除非堵住然后溢出来，否则是不会感觉到什么差别的。
至于well就不知道了……

谢谢。我搜了，但是没有找到详细的说明。只有一个两页的说明，我看了没有看到符合
这种情况的说明。
而且我说的这种情况应该是在cap gap范围内的，opt自动extend到h1b结果出来吧。

可以理直气壮的表示不知道这条。所有的housewife与你LD同在。
你被找麻烦的几率跟雪天滑倒几率差不多，特别是她有了几张卡并且responsible
behavior后，银行收入上找麻烦的几率会大大下降。另一个角度看，问问你自己几年来
你被几次要过收入证明？我是0次，当然我总是填真实收入。

I have septic, don't feel any difference. never changed anything yet.My
friend's house uses water from a well in her backyard, never complained
either.

No, OPT cap-gap means you can still work between your opt expiration date
and 10/1 if your OPT expires earlier than 10/1.
But after 10/1, if your OPT has expired and your H1B has not been approved,
you cannot work.

Of course. 大多数卡都问household income, 碰到问personal income的我老婆还是填
household income,然后resource填husband, 哈哈，

cap gap means filling your EAD gap until the new cap year starts.
the new year starts on 10/1, so cap-gap extention ends on 9/30.

要是重新建的话费用很高。平时维护费用不大。
自己的井可以节省水费。但要是motor 坏了，当然自己付。
用septic， well 的地方地税都低。

public sewer is usually included in property tax.
if you have septic now and later you need to connect to public sewer, it
takes $.

Q1. What is “Cap-Gap”?
A1. Current regulations allow certain students with pending or approved H-1B
petitions to remain in F-1 status during the period of time when an F-1
student’s status and work authorization would otherwise expire through the
start date of their approved H-1B employment period. This is referred to as
filling the “cap-gap,” meaning the regulations provide a way of filling
the “gap” between the end of F-1 status and the beginning of H-1B status
that might otherwise occur if F-1 status is not extended for qualifying
students.
I don't know whether the start date is any approved date, not necessary 10/1

怎么解释这一句？Once a timely filing has been made, requesting a change of

我是待朋友问这个问题的。
我自己读过uscis上的描述，觉得是到10月一号就不能工作了。结果昨天跟她update的
时候，她说她给律师看过uscis上的描述后，律师说她可以工作。。。。。
所以皆大欢喜，哈哈。

可以工作的，直到确切消息说你被拒才不能工作。我08nia年12月15号拿到的H1b，之前
我一直在工作，走正常程序发工资那种
