下午回家，觉得温度不对，到外面检查空调，发现风扇没有转,但机器有声音。
于是先关了一个小时，然后再启动，还是这样。
大家看看，这是什么问题？电容坏了？还是电机坏了？
才8年新的房子。

most likely the capacitor blew out. It happened to mine last night as well.
It can be easily changed by yourself, or just call an HVAC service. Also
check to see if your AC is still under warranty like mine. If so, this will
be covered by your warranty.

not sure if you can find it in lowes or homedepot... try online or find a
local electrical supply house or hvac parts store from yellow book... make
sure you get the exact same model as what you have now.
by the way, to check if the capacitor is blown out, you can open up the side
cover of your outdoor ac unit and look to see if the top of the capacitor
is bumped out...

usually there is a switch close to outside unit.

You don't need to shut off the entire house. Just turn off the corresponding
ac unit switches in the switch box , which usually is located in your
garage.. You may also want to discharge the capacitor before unwiring it to
avoid any possible electrical shock, which could be dangerous. There are
three heads on the capacitor: c, f, anf h. You can use a screwdriver to
touch the tip of c and f, and then c and h to discharge. You can find many
videos on youtube showing you how to replace the capacitor. They are very
helpful.. Please watch them prior doing it., especially if you haven't done
so before. Hope this helps.

没有。你search一下local有没有DIY的店。
一个就十多块钱，叫contractor修一般要80-120。
很容易换，几分钟的事。

有可能。不过电容坏的可能99%，电机1%。
电容10块钱换，电机800块。

机器是什么声音呢？是压缩机吗？
电容是可以查的。量一下，如果电容量低于额定的20%就需要换。否则白换了。
电机坏的概率挺高的。

电机是squirrel cage motor
这种结构基本不会坏
99%是capacitor击穿
capacitor相当好换，我捡过的空调里capacitor都是用connector连接的
用力就能拔下来
