本来交第二年年费时候有点心不干，$75年费，而且1pt/dollar。Marriott的点数比HH
值钱，但也不到1cent，所以消费方面不合算。当时anniversary给的Cat 1-5
certificate也感觉没啥用，不过看到fleamarket有人买$100~110。自己就尝试了一下
，结果很快就有4个人来回。买给第一个人了，帮他订的hotel，加他为guest。有些风
险，因为marriott原则必须本人出现，不过实际操作没有多少人会订着查吧。而且如果
入住当天6点前能cancel reservation的话，certificate还能保住。所以感觉对于买家
和卖家还是可以接受的。
有这个卡的可以考虑这点啊。没想到certificate还是挺热销的。BTW，开卡送那个是
category 1-4，能卖$90左右。

Then why do you keep the card? To sell the Cat1-5 to earn 20 dollars each
year?

我收到开卡送的那个email了，可是没搞明白怎么打印，或者说怎么用

Good point. I don't think the risk and $20 bucks alone are worthy. My
unique reason is that I was just 15 nights short to become a gold member. So
after renewal, I am a gold member now. But ironic thing is that I don't
have plan to stay even after I am gold...

Check your Marriott account activity. If entitled one, you should see it at
the bottom of the webpage,called "Unused Rewards Certificates". It's said
that you can use it book online but I never try that. I always call to book
with certificate.

I have no problem with Marriott. I should correct. I do have a reservation
at Maui, Hawaii. But that one is category 7. I don't have other big travel
plan this year. Cat5 is good for casual or business visit.
