Got the Samsung 28ct French door fridge with middle drawer yesterday. It
looks better to me, but I do wonder how well it is built, since the floor
sample looked pretty beat up.

I would go with whirlpool. They specialized in appliances for many many yrs.
Samsung's does look good but I was researching online review and was
surprised by the # of -ve reviews in general... Check with local water
district. We got rebate program in place for water efficient machines, can
rec as much as $280+

Thank you all for answering my questions. We could not decide by ourselves,
so we brought our daughter to Low's to help us decide. Finally, we bought
Samsung's washer, dryer and refrigerator.
BTW, did you guys buy the protection service ($140 for 5 years)?
