Chainsaw doesn't work well on stump, as you don't want any dirt to mess up
with your saw teeth. Recip is probably the only power tool you can use
around soil. I wouldn't recommend that either, because you still need to
remove a lot of soil to have the right angle to use your saw.
Saltpeter, usually marketed as "stump remover", works slowly but fine. What'
s the rush for? You don't need to retire on 18BIG, right?
