问了一个loan agent说30yr fix 20% downpany的closing cost在房价的3% 左右
好像比我听说的高啊，请问现在是这个比例么？

完全用作贷款的closing cost不是跟房价成正比的，因为不论房价是多少，有相当一部
分费用是固定的。

房价是435k, 请问正常的closing cost应该是多少左右？

real closing cost is about $3k (mainly your title + escrow and some other
fees), but you will have withholds (like property tax, insurance payment)
and pre-payments. the amount will depend on many facts.

But my loan agent told me the loan's closing cost is around 3%.
I'm not sure everything is included. Gonna to ask her.
BTW how does loan agent make money? from loan lender or from the loan
applicant?

some from both, but most from the real lenders.

So I do need to shop around and compare loan agents, just in case they
charge me too much. Thank you!
