Checked my credit score is just a little bit higher than 740, will pre
approval lower my credit score? If then my credit score will be lower than
740 when I officially apply for the home loan. Anything I can do? Thanks

Pre-approval letter itself will not lower your credit score at all. It is
hard pull your credit profile.
Suggest you not to hard pull at this time. Some broker are willing to give
you pre-approval letter if you already have on in hand.

Just got warning from my credit score watch, the home loan company did the
hard pull already. The notice also said I can dispute, shall I do that? Thx
a lot.

Dispute是说你的分数如果有不对的地方可以dispute。

If you did not authorize your loan company to hard pull, you could ask for
explanation, (or possible compensation). It will hurt you for sure for 30
years in most cases.
