EVL上简单描述下现在工作在同一领域比较好吧。单独弄封信太招摇，容易弄出RFE来。

NIW还是Employment Based的绿卡。只不过不用办PERM罢了。

我们的律师告诉我们，NIW如果有正当理由暂时没工作，只要能证明有在找工作或是将
会继续工作、或有存款证明经济没问题也可以。不过我猜可能遭到rfe风险比较大。

希望真正有经验的出来说下，这个可不是闹着玩的。
而且既然都说没有工作了，还RFE什么？怎么证明正在找工作？ 存款？

我来贡献下我的case。和楼主一样，我140批了也换了工作。file 485的时候什么也没
有说明。还是file进去了。不过我在今年EAD renew的时候遭到RFE. 他非说我是NIW
physician，要提供ｗ２什么的。我估计他搞错了我的category. 不过我也提供了EVL说
明我现在是一个领域，把W2和paycheck给他了。现在还在审。

如果只要W2怎么能说明是领域搞错了呢？这不应该是想看看有没有工资么？

I-765 renew的instruction是这样说的：
If you are filing for a renewal EAD based on your pending adjustment of
status as a National Interest Waiver Physician, you must also include
evidence of your meaningful progress toward completing the national interest
waiver obligation. Such evidence includes documentation of employment in
any period during the previous 12 months (e.g. copies of W -2 forms). If you
did not work as a national interest waiver physician during any period of
the previous 12 months, you must explain and provide a statement of future
intent to work in the national interest waiver employment.
Instruction上没说其他领域的也要这些材料。所以我renew的initial documents也没
准备这些。这是第二次renew. 2年前第一次renew的时候没要任何东西。

估计确实搞错了，可能你是做biomedical方面的phd,petition上写的是dr.X，他就搞错
了。这些高中学历的人搞不清楚吧。
