Minimal exterior distress, caulk separation on front right second floor window. Interior distress was observed as follows: 1. Tile cracks in the entry hall. 2. Up right bath door rubs frame. Elevation differentials varied by a maximum of 1.4 inches on the interior living area of the home. It should be noted that the elevation measurements include effects of elevation variation in the original construction which normally are 0.6 inches to 1.0 inches. Conclusions: The visible concrete surface did not have any observed structural cracks and was in good structural condition. There were non structural cracks observed in the visible concrete surfaces. The overall elevation differential is 1.4 inches of vertical elevation difference over a horizontal distance of about 55 feet. New homes are normally 0.6 inches to one inch of elevation difference. The American Concrete Institute recommends elevation differential in a new home not exceed 1.5 inches on a new home. The foundation is within an acceptable tolerance for floor slopes and no piers are needed or recommended to correct floor slopes. In conclusion, the foundation is performing within an acceptable tolerance for floor slopes and does not need any piers to correct floor slopes. The home has had minimal movement since constructed and is similar to a new home. Structurally the visible concrete slab appears in good structural condition. 非常感谢!
