Unless you are in a market like SF, otherwise I think spend more on a good
inspection is very important.
I know a friend who hired someone who briefly walked through their house and
told them everything was fine. After buying that house, they spent 30K to
fix roof and foundation seepage issues. A good inspector should be able to
catch such things.
