看到一个房子不错， 90年的， 但是7年前由于“Water Ｌｅａｋ”有过白蚁， 据说
已经修好了， 而且没再有过问题。
另外， 这个房子的是ＡＣ是ＧＡＳ的。从没用过ＧＡＳ的ＡＣ， 心理没底儿。
这样的房子能要吗？（在德州）

一般是七到十年就封起来用药熏一次

如果白蚁没有进家，在车库，墙角之类地方发现的，很容易处理。沿着房子钻洞灌药水
就行了。德州是地下白蚁subterrance termite，每次处理几百美元搞定保证五年，没
有事情的。加州的drywood termite, 是台湾进口的，那种危害比较大。真的进屋了就
要熏蒸处理，一次就好几千。文学城的相关版面讨论挺多的，共同的观点是兵来将挡，
水来土掩，不要因为这个纠结。
买房子的时候做个白蚁检查是需要的，但是看一次自己都可以当Inspector。就是看看
房子靠地面的部分有没有tunnel，就是土堆的通道。然后非常严肃的告诫说，为了安全
起见，最好三个月复查一次，每次70美元，呵呵。

believe in "growth" stories.
I only buy "value" stocks, if there happen to be "growth", that's a bonus. I
never want to pay for "growth".
