我想请教一下有关入籍的问题，如果入籍五年必须在美国呆满两年半吗？我拿绿卡快满
五年了，中间申请白皮书回国了两年，这样可以申请入籍吗？另外，如果不可以的话，
我朋友在美国有公司，如果我是她公司的员工或者合伙人，然后回国，每年回美国两次
，五年之后这样可以入籍吗？

if you have stayed out of US for continuous 2 years without N470, your
continuous physical resident is reset. Even you have any one trip that is
over 6 months, you need to submit a burden of proof that you did not break
the continuous residency (if without N470, or being in US military)
you need to read M-476 first. Your current description indicates no, you are
not eligible to natualize now.

if you don't have approved N-470, it doesn't work for 入籍. And your N470
chance is not good if you have not worked for that company "in US" for
sometime. If you continue to get approved for reentry permit, 能保住绿卡.

您好，如果我现在申请N-470的话，我之前在美国连续呆了一年的时间，然后回国两年
，去年回美国至今，这样能算连续居住吗？还是从我去年入境开始算起？

your 5-year continuous stay count will be all the days since 去年回美国至今
+ 364 days (reentry permit allows you to set the "day 0" from 364 days
before reentry)
so wait about 3 more years, you can still travel (<6 months any one trip)
out side of US, but you need 2.5 years in US during the 5 years period.
And you not only need to meet those days before filing N-400, but also need
to meet it before your oath.
