Is there an anti-c-section movement in medical field? Why everytime I asked
for a c-section( I have some personal and health concerns which make me
consider a C-Section), my ob doctors immediately rejected it. I felt that
one of them almost wanted to bite me. Should I switch doctors?
I have checked with my insurance company, and they said they cover elective
c-section fee. If my doctors talked me into having a vaginal delivery by
listing reasons and facts, I would totally listen and understa

买了新房，谁也不想将蟑螂带到新家。一般来讲，除非是大马哈，带活蟑螂的可能性不
大，但带虫卵的可能性太大，防不胜防呀。
记住：蟑螂虫卵可以成活6个月。蟑螂除了喜欢cheese，就喜欢啃书！
1. 搬家装箱时注意别带活物。
2. 家居尽量不带 -- 贱卖或give away。
3. 搬家后所有东西先放车库，清洗后再搬屋里。
4. 特别是厨房用具！！要清洗。厨房调味品什么的最好重新买，最多100刀搞定吧！
5. 最重要的：将可能有蟑螂的东西，又不立即用的（比如书籍什么的），装箱后四周
用胶布封严，放在车库里，半年后再开封。

如果你真有一些medical reasons for C-section, 不能理解为什么你得OB不同意你做
。像我双宝，宝B屁股朝下，只能切了
一般医生推荐自然生是因为恢复得快，而且保险公司和他们有合同，自然生省钱

here docs prefer natural birth. c-section is for emergencies only.
u should be assured that they will take care of u & ur baby when time comes.
dont be too worry.

The clinic I go has 10+ doctors. A few of them i like more than the other.
And I only met around five doctors. I could run into any of them if I have
vaginal delivery. I saw bad ratings of some of them through the internet.
I posted previously about some concerns I have with vaginal delievery here.
But I don't understand why they are so against it.

Because they have their judgements, and insurance company will only listen
to them. You can say you perfer one way over the other, but your ob makes
the final decision, based on your situation.
Same here. I don't like some OBs in my clinic. Although I scheduled a C-
section appointment with my OB, I am still worried if babies came out
earlier and I had to let the bad doctor do the surgery on me...

The clinic I go has 10+ doctors. A few of them i like more than the other.
And I only met around five doctors. I could run into any of them if I have
vaginal delivery. I saw bad ratings of some of them through the internet.
I posted previously about some concerns I have with vaginal delievery here.
But I don't understand why they are so against it.

c-section is a surgery; thus, carries much higher risks of complications
than vaginal delivery (ie. more blood loss, risks of infections, uterine
rupture during subsequent pregnancies, etc). the human body is designed to
deliver naturally. i don't think your doctors are against c-section. from
their stand point, you are probably not medically indicated for c-section
yet.
c-section is really considered the last resort. most female ob's that i know
try very hard to avoid having c-sections (done to

section) carries more risks than vaginal delivery? My personal experience
just tells me the opposite. I know clotting is more common in a c-section
than in natural delivery. Other than that, under modern ameircan medical
envrioment, I don't find any study telling a planned c-section has more
risks.
Anyway, I find the doctors, you are right, most of them I find are female

唉，人和人不同，我咋觉得c-section更让人紧张呢。我有些朋友是不得不c的，
都是说“大不了，挨一刀”这样的话:p 主动选择c的，一般是孕早期就跟医生沟通
好的吧。

hope it helps. :) honestly, NOT one OBGYN doctors that I know choose
elective C-sections when they have their own children. if you've seen a C-
section in the OR (i've seen a lot), i am sure you will stay as far from it
as possible

Did anyone who had a traumatic vaginal delievery choose to have a c-section
for the second baby? I am very frustrated with the doctors and the medical
articles. Some say planned c-sections are as safe as vaginal delieveries.
Some say c-sections are riskier than vaginal deliveries.
Anyone in this board is as frustrated as I am for the same reason? Please
share!

如果你第一个刨腹产了，那你最多只能要2-3个小孩吧。总不能每次都刨开吧。这是美
国人不喜欢的原因之一。我一个美国朋友在中国生小孩，被刨了，非常不开心，非常希
望第二胎能顺产，但是据说很难。

my baby's ped, white woman in her 40's , just had the 5th c-sec.
5 kids. oh my holy god. ...

it is possible, but VERY dangerous. i've seen a woman giving births to 6
children, all through c section. she understood it was dangerous, but couldn
't help it because her religious belief prevented her from using birth
control. the doctor literally said "you are going to die in the OR if you
continue to have children". she literally was crying in the clinic. anyways,
she survived her 6th c section.
the mortality curve goes up a lot after the 3rd c section. don't quote me on
that. if i remember

沟通了也没用，除非你头胎是剖的，可能医生会考虑二胎也剖。但是也有无数的人头胎
是剖的，二胎是自然产的。
像俺医生是华裔，俺生理结构抱歉得让医生做内检做到欲哭无泪。俺说将来俺剖吧，医
生表情严肃地说，你不如dialator多做练习以为将来生产做准备。我找谁哭去啊：（

你朋友不用担心，只要第二胎时间间隔够长，恢复好了再怀就没事。再说能不能自然产
，也分个体素质。
