标题: 在第三国居住，领事程序(CP)在哪个国家领事馆面试？

I140已批，但是在I140里写的是要办I485。后来离开美国来到第三国居住，交I-824申
请领事程序consular processing的时候，Physical Address写的是第三国的地址，请
问这种情况国家签证中心NVC会让我去广州的领事馆面试，还是让我就近在第三国的领
事馆面试？
另外顺便问I-824的处理时间是多少？我的I140在TSC

最近看房子，有一个觉得不错，但是是烧油的，做饭是电。房东说门口有gas的管道，
想问问如果把全部都改成气的话，大概花费是多少？如果有做这个的师傅推荐（在
Boston），请站内
，谢谢。
另外那种forced air heater是不是冬天太干燥了不舒服？

You need to ask the US consulate in your current residence first whether
they will allow you to apply here, if you are not a citizen or permanent
resident of this place.
If not. and NVC forward the case here, and then has to go back to NVC and
then to GZ, which can take a year longer.

不是干燥的问题，而是管道里有无数的灰尘螨虫细菌。。。

Thanks a lot for your response. Sure I will try to contact local US
consulate to ask about this first.
Actually, I want to go to Guangzhou for the consular processing. Is there
any way to let NVC about this and send my case to Guangzhou consulate?

你为什么不让房东改？
油改气很贵。另外不是门口有管道就马上能改的。

Do you mean that I can choose to go CP in Guangzhou Consulate?
I think I can go to Guangzhou Consulate for CP even if I'm not living in
China currently.

这么说我是中国公民应该去广州领事馆
但是

那根据我I-824上的的physical address判断，我的the nearest U.S. consulate肯定
是第三国的US consulate了。
