有个法国人family 三口想租房，才到美国，在父亲apple工作，还没SSN，只有
passport #，不
能做standard的background check. 只能打电话给他的HR问。
1. 租给这种靠谱吗？
2. 打电话给hr除了问工作title， salary， visa，还需要问其他的吗？

You can ask, but it's likely they won't give anything more. In fact, I don'
t think they will give you salary information.
But if he's indeed employed on work visa, then these people are generally
very reliable.

Have the company guarantee the payment.
