My suggestion is to keep it.
1) let nature go itself
don't disturb the nature.
If wild grass like to grow, let it grow.
why? What's our purpose to grow grass in yards?
Most people say, it is for protection of foundation.
remember, lawn maintainance's main purpose is not for beautifying our lawn.
It is for protecting the house structure primarily.
Keep the wild grass because the wild grass has the same function as domicile
grass in terms of structure protection.
