Single Family house in Rye Brook, but very close to Port Chester. The
listing price is 1,090,000. 4 bedrooms and 1 additional bedroom in basement
. 2660 sq ft an additional 800 sq ft of finished living space in base. 3.5
baths. Yard is not big, and lot size is about 7,800 Sq Ft Lot.
House was built in the 1980's and well maintained. We like the structure of
the house.
Seller wants to sell very close to listing price. Is it worth it? We are
first time house buyer and can't make up the decision at this time.
Any suggestions?

这种问是否该买房子的，外人很难给你什么有价值的建议。还是要看你们自己是否喜欢
，经济能力等。跟找老公老婆一样，要有缘分。就像那句话说的，You'll know when
it is yours. first time buyer，多看看

Have been looking on and off for almost 2 years, got a bit tired. The
advantage of the house is that the price is at lower range of our budget,
and close to my company.

Yeah, that's what I have been thinking about. We made an offer last week,
and my agent told me today that someone offered at 1,080,000 (higher than us
). Now I am not sure if I want to beat them.
I plan to put down 50% cash. In that case, how high do I have to go to win
the case?

让你中介直接打听清楚，有几个人在争，对方down多少，先match对方的，不行再告诉
卖家好商量，看诚意如何，看你想拿下的决心了，当然也可以拍拍屁股走人，不一定嘛
