My boss has asked me to create a symposium, I did all the work (including
writing abstracts for EVERY author). I by default is the chair of the
symposium, and I added my boss as co-chair.
then the problem is the system only allows for 6 presenters, but my boss
wants to have 7, then unless I take myself off, this would not work..
Should I take myself off the presenters??
(Sry for not being able to type Chinese at work. thx for your advice!!!)

收到email说不能verify address,
要我提供我的business license上有我的名字并且和address在一起

可能你老板觉得你英语不太好，不太适合present。。。。

that is not the issue. I have presented at other conferences before and got
very good feedback from his colleagues.

我也遇到了同样的问题，要我的business name 和business phone number，我怎么回
答呢？
同时还要我的一个income sourse 证明。
我记得我当时申请的是个人的，不是business。

这个太奇怪了吧? 就好象如果会议是7月开, 你老板非要8月去,
这难道不是该他和会议组织者之间谈的事情么? 与你有什么关系?

I am submitting the symposium for my boss. It is a big conference so there
is no personal talks with the organizers.

是啊. 你老板知道只能给6个, 他想要7个.
你管他呢?
搞清楚哟, 你说的是他想要7个, 不是他想去掉一个现在的,
换上一个他想要的.
你上报7个就是了. "no personal talks with the organizers",
organizer如果不爽, 就等organizers找你老板来"personal talk"好了.

limitation, there is no way to submit 7. So he wants to take me off the
presenters' list.

chair不做presentation也正常. 你老板非要这样, 你就只好依了.

I don't see why the chair should give a presentation.
The credibility of being a chair covers the one of a presentation.
Even if you give a talk, nobody cares, since you are already the chair and
you can talk if you want regardless the quality of the content.
