Hello, can you help with a question?
My relative has a car company to sell cars in China. Recently he asks me to
be a representative, or something, without salary. I do not need to invest.
I do not need to do anything. They put my name in the company. I think they
might want to show they have someone in the U.S. Should I accept it? I do
not know anything about my role at all. If the company earns money, do I
need to pay tax here, although I do not have any salary? In addition, I am
working at an University, nothing to do with car business.
If not appropriate, how can I refuse it (he is someone related to my uncle)?
