行家们可能早就知道，我是最近才知道银行各支行的经理（local branch manager）可
以自行浮动利率。夏天买房子不成，把钱存了六个月定期，当时公开的利率是5.5%，热
情的branch manager主动加到5.8%。最近到期，看到公开的利率是5%，打电话给branch
manager试探，又热情地提供5.5%。
经验是：Person-to-person contact is sometimes better than phone or Internet
service in terms of being more flexible and giving better profits. Seek for
the manager; assistants have no such authority, I guess.
