Basically they are both considered "cash".
Money order you can buy from lots of places like
postoffice, gas station, grocery stores..but you have to pay for it;
Cashier's check you get from your bank, most time you dont have to pay for it.
But some banks do charge it.

There is a limit for money order, like $1000 per or sth like that.
And the charge for money order is more expensive than a cashier's check.
As I know, most banks charge a small amount, like $5, for a cashier's check,
whatever the amount is.

1~,竟然被m了，那再加一点
拿到money order/cashier's check/bank check后，现不要着急存进银行或者cash,
一般其背面都有一个toll free phone #, call that # to confirm that it is
valid.这样就可以避免你存进银行或者cash之后，如果是fake的，被罚钱了
