upromise is a college saving program. The rebates go to your upromise fund,
which can be used for future college costs for your kids or yourself. Better
yet, you can link a 529 plan to it so you can invest the money in your 529
plan.
Citi has a affiliated upromise card. 1% everyday purchase (up to $300/year).
extra 10% on selected merchandise, extra 2% on exxonmobile gas, plus
merchandise rebates through upromise. Here is an example from Upromise.com:
