我都是事先ACH PULL把钱全转走，然后一个ONLINE MESSAGE，关了就是。

我每次都这么做的，没任何问题，这样他们就不用给那你寄支票了，很快就关了，当然
你要确认你的账户在最近几天不会有交易。

I'm not specifically talking about Chase checking. I'm talking about closing
a banking account in general.
this blog post talks about savings account, but it applies to checking
accounts as well in some cases.
A safer way to close an account is always to ask the banks about the proper
procedures first to avoid surprises.

你这个是笼统的说法，我这个是实用的，你的方法当然安全，但是麻烦，拿来CHECK还
要存。 你的链接上说的主要是为了防止那个月的利息没有，但是这个CHECKING没利息
啊，如果默认是0 balance自动关是最好的。我用这个办法关CHASE 和BOA CHECKING，
都很快，1天以内就关了。
