Finished $1000 spending for 6661 and called on 8/25, was told that I need
wait for 6-8 weeks. Sent a SM for the points today, here is the response:
Thank you for being a valued Cardmember and for choosing the American
Express Card.
I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with the Membership
Rewards bonus offer. We are unable to confirm in the email servicing
department if you are eligible for this offer. In addition we cannot award
the Membership Reward points bonus you have referenced in your email to the
Premier Rewards Gold Card.
I have opened an investigation and our Membership Rewards Customer Service
unit will be researching and completing the investigation on your behalf.
Please keep in mind this process can take up to 10 business days. Once it is
complete, the research department will send you a letter with detailed
information about the outcome.
If we need any further information, they will contact you directly. When
they complete their research, they will notify you in writing and provide an
explanation of the resolution of your inquiry.
