call chase and ask them to convert your card to sapphire. that keeps your
points and you can transfer to UA. sapphire is signature visa card. freedom
is non signature card. there are big differences in benefits (from visa)
between

I got freedom from the beginning of last Sep., and just got Chase UA this mo
nth. Is it ok for me to ask them?
And can I get the open bonus from Sapphire prefered?

of course not, dude. it is sapphire, not preferred. preferred charges u
annual fee. conversion of a card should be no problem. it is not applying
for a new one.

建议你再用一段时间freedom，因为你刚开了ua的卡
过几个月再申请sapphire prefer卡
