4月底被裁，不知道公司revoke了H1B没有，当时网上自己file了转B2，现在还在
pending。原公司跟我有non-compete协议，所以我8月前不能工作。如果现在有别的公
司给我offer，同意我8月上班，怎么搞H1B？如果cancel B2申请的话我需要处境吗？

他可能早就有H1B了
这种情况的话，新公司激活你工作的那天，你才能上班，B2转H1B需要去境外激活，你
需要出境一次

不过原则上来说，你上个H1B失效，你在美国身份就没有了，你申请B2，貌似应该算你
是B2
你怎么也要出去再进来一次
就当回家探亲吧

I 539 pending 期间可以合法居留。

You need to get your B2 approved first or you will have a risk of out of
status. Then you can apply your H1B again. There is no transfer since you
are already out of H1B. Depends on your case you might need to get out US to
get a I94.
