I was trying to cancel my AMEX Platinum card, but the agent told me I have
to call in to cancel. Is that normal?
1-800-528-4800 is the number to call

白金卡都要过retention部门给你留人offer，也许因为amex想留人。
别的卡online chat cancel没问题。

去年online可以，今年还没试过

上周五online chat关的。
这卡对我没有保留价值。

打了两次电话，第一次一个劲儿的劝我别关，把这卡吹的天花乱坠但就是
不给任何retention offer，说的我都不好意思强行关卡了。第二次打又继续劝，我文
能否给点credit，我就留下，继续告诉我没有，于是果断关之。

顺便问下, 你花了多少啊? 要拿50K还需要花多少啊?

根本没offer retention，直接就关了:)

打了这个电话1-800-528-4800，自动声音的时候说关卡，转到了客服，问了下关卡原因
，直接就关了。
