Does anyone know about the situation of postdoc in Germany?
Visa, job market, language?
Should I go ?

limbo
我觉得是指limbic system，大脑边缘系。或者来源于这个词。
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limbic_system
包括海马，杏仁核等和边缘大脑皮质。
掌管情感，行为，长期记忆和嗅觉。
梦境中的意识，潜意识等等都是发生在普通大脑皮层的神经活动，
如果神经活动都转移到limbic cortex去了，人就醒不过来了。
考虑limbic cortex的功能，是不是有助于影片的解释和理解？

VISA is much easier than US.
If you have a work permit from your local city hall,
you will become a temporary residence in Germany. Feel free
to travel to any EU-schengen country and other countries. No
need to apply for VISA to go back to Germany with a valid work permit there.
In academia, it is highly competitive to find a faculty position in Germany.
Of course, it is up to your capability and social skills to establish
yourself.
You can survive in English since most of German can chat in English.
However, it doesn't meant that they want to speak English. The better your
German, the easier to make friends and have fun in German culture.
Decision to be made by yourself!

首先申明以下乃个人观点，仅供参考。
如果是我，我不会去，即使升职加薪也不能去。
德国是比美国更加排外的国家。去那里工作生活最好还是要学德语。德语很难学。
老板现在觉得需要你，因为你是最熟悉他实验室，跟随他多年的人。你能快速帮他在德
国建立好实验室，开展工作，继续课题。因此目前他需要你，他需要升职加薪诱惑你去
。可一旦实验室建好了，科研步入正轨，他又招到合适的当地人，他就会想为什么要付
给你更高的薪水呢？
如果你是实验室的灵魂人物，老板离开你实验室就开不下去，那另当别论。如果不是，
等老板开始思考这个问题，就是你倒霉的时候到了，而且又在德国。。。。
