when you have one child, the only child has attention of both parents. when you have two, it will be one on one (one parent with one child, the other parent with antoher child). when you have three, both parents will be free.

I have three kids. I sometimes feel bad to take my baby everywhere because of the oldest child's activities. On the other hand my younger children definite benefit from the oldest, they tend to get everything earlier than my first child because they have an older sibling to watch. I can't tell which child gets the most attention. I should say I give them different attention due to different needs. My oldest is school age, I have to drive her everywhere for her activities and playdates, my middle one is almost 3 but still has T2 mood sometimes, I put lots of energy fighting with her, for my youngest baby I have to feed him, change him, and I do spoil him since he is the youngest. I feel like I did try my best to give all 3 of them full attention. Think it this way, they not only need my attention, but also enjoy sibling interaction.
