since antiwheel started -
i think you'll have more time to practice after start working.
i've had 4 lessons for my drum, and i can see i'm making a lot of progress.
before i just hardwire many paterns, tho i sound alright but now i realized
it'll be the limit soon. what i've been doing all these four weeks is just
stick
control on a snare practice pad. everything else will gradually built on it.
consistency and is the key thing, on top of that you build speed. it's amazing

我写写我的心得。我头一两个月进步快些，最近慢了些，我主要在练一本
alfred的教材，练到9-strock roll了，感觉前面打4th,8th,16th notes的时候
练stick control这样的练习很管用，开始练roll了就好象到了要开始细细磨炼
的阶段，我大概前后2个月才能把5-strock roll打得稍微流畅些，和老师一比就
差太远了，练roll可能在pad上练不大好，rebound不够。我老师属于那种不大喜欢
按课本按部就班教的那种，他自己主要是多听多jamming那样学出来的，现在开始
教我跟着CD扒谱练，我感觉他比较杂，水平可能不拔尖，但音乐感觉还是不错的，
而且人很nice，经常练完我们还聊天聊半天。估计我进步今后会更慢，住的地方不
行，放着pad我都得小心翼翼地敲，速度就快不起来。我也觉得鼓上手还是挺快的，
勤奋点半年都可以去jamming了，不过难的东西是真难，没有好几年我看是拿不下
来的。那天我翻了下jimi hendrix的鼓谱，觉得就跟天书似的。
