I have been reading a crazy book named as "melody chords" by Alan Holdsworth
when I was waiting downstairs for my guitar class. seems I did not waste time
on that.
the reason why I titled this book as "crazy" is; it's too detailed.
he tried to explain how the chords could be combined with melody, how to make
new chords to fit the melody, or just using chords to generate a melody flow.
he also discussed scales, with many fretboard charts. when he talk about
scales, this book is more like an adv
