她说DUE DATE前2周，（按照N年前，国内的算法，就是美国DUE DATE的前1周？），她
什么状况也没有，她老公也是医生，她就让老公进去，用手在宫颈口摸一圈（不进去的
），当时夜里11点，当天凌晨3点多，就开始宫缩了，到了早上6点，就开始有规律了，
8点就生了。
她说这个TRICK，国内的老一辈妇产科医生都用。
谁来说说美国的内检，摸到宫颈口吗？那怎么起不到催产的作用？伸到宫颈口里面吗？

你说呢？否则医生内检要干嘛？否则怎么知道你开了几指的？

她很有经验的，说国内就是这么“催产”的。
我真不知道啊，那美国内检，伸到宫颈里面去吗？

I think it is called membrane sweep. It is fairly common over here, too. My
OB did it. She said I will be in labor in 4~7 days. I felt contraction on
day 4 and had my son on day 5. Of course, you need to be ready to go into
labor at that stage. In my OB's words : the cervix needs to be "ripe".

membrane sweeping can be a useful way of bringing on labour before other
methods of induction are offered.
It's now recommended that, if it's your first baby, you're offered a
membrane sweep at your 40 weeks antenatal appointment and again at your 41
week appointment, if you haven't already gone into labour.
If this isn't your first baby, then you should be offered a membrane sweep
at your 41 week antenatal appointment, if you haven't already gone into
labour by then.
Membrane sweeping is done by your midwife or doctor. While internally
examining you, she will simply "sweep" a finger around your cervix (neck of
your womb). The aim is to separate the membranes around your baby from your
cervix. This releases hormones called prostaglandins, which may kick-start
your labour.
A membrane sweep increases the likelihood that labour will start within 48
hours. It has a higher chance of working if your cervix is already softening
and preparing for labour. It does not increase the risk of infection to
either you or your baby.
A membrane sweep can be uncomfortable as the cervix is often difficult to
reach before labour begins. Some women find the procedure painful so you may
want to try out your breathing techniques to help you relax while it's
being done. There may also be some slight "spotting" of blood and irregular
contractions immediately afterwards.
If your baby is overdue you should be offered a membrane sweep before
considering other methods of induction. It may be the case that you're
offered two or three membrane sweeps before starting other methods of
induction. Ask your midwife for details as most units have written
information leaflets for you to read.

昨天我OB想给我做来着，结果我一点都没开指，宝宝位置也还很高，想做也做不成。我
打算下周产检的时候让OB做，看网上大家说的似乎还是挺有效的。

这个美国这边叫stripping membranes,把羊膜和子宫分开达到催产目的。

我生大宝的时候我ob同group的医生给我用了这招，第二天就发动了，labor了十几个小
时，预产期当天凌晨生的娃。不知道发动和剥膜有没有必然联系。
但是我生的时候宝宝的头下去得很慢，宫口全开的时候宝宝的头位置好像还是比较高。
现在想起来觉得当时是不是时机未到，没有瓜熟蒂落呢。
