had my 1st trimester screening test today, the tech person told me there is
80% chance it is a baby girl, anybody had the gender told this early? Is it
accurate enough to say my baby is really a girl?

呵呵，女孩有很大的可能会变男孩。我有个朋友跟你一模一样的，13周的时候被告知是
女孩。后来大B超变成男孩了，她一下子都傻了。：）

Yes. the experienced sonographer can definitely tell the gender that early.

可以，有经验的医师可以看出来，自己看的话有个30度角理论

我们那个BC师大部分都是12-13周看出来的，这两年中身边好几十号孩子（都是中国人
），只有一个把男孩看成女孩的

it may very clear know the gender around 15-16 weeks.

My OB referred me to a specialist (maternal-fetal medicine/high risk) for my
screening tests which including the nuchal translucency sonogram. Both the
sonogram tech and the specialist told me it is a boy, they said 99%.
Sometimes depends on the baby's position. We did not tell parents yet and
want to wait until the big sonogram in week 20 when more detailed info will
be obtained.

有经验的医师再加上宝宝位置好,是可以看出来,我11周3天就看出是女孩了,后来也证实
是女孩,一般错误的可能比较小,不然医生也不会没有把握就告诉你了.

偶9周的时候就被告知是男孩。

13周的时候做nt test, 被告知暂时看不出来gender, 我们家的是女宝。

since the baby's legs are crossed, the sonogram tech said according to the '
bladder' size, she thought it is a girl. I am not sure if it is bladder or
some other similar word.
In any case, it is fun to know the gender this early, we'll see if my girl
is really 'she' at 20 week!
